Like any misunderstood hero, I probably had a difficult childhood that led to my career as a professional assassin. That, or someone brainwashed me into murdering my parents. If I don't remember, does it really count? Or matter?

Let's just say that I was an orphan, a wizard put me on my aunt and uncle's doorstep, they raised me in secret, and then I went to a special magic school where a bald man regularly tried to murder me with voodoo.

Okay, that's not true...but I do have a scar on my forehead! Several, actually!

Anyway, seriously, I joined the military at 17 years-old, but was discharged soon thereafter. So, naturally, I decided to become an assassin.

Then I met Wade and Mercedes Wilson, a young couple that nursed me back to health after an early failed job. Some may say that I killed them both in an attempt to steal Wade's identity, but guys, come on. I'm the real Wade Wilson.

Thor Odinson is the Asgardian God of Thunder, the former king of Asgard and New Asgard, and a founding member of the Avengers. When his irresponsible and impetuous behavior reignited a conflict between Asgard and Jotunheim, Thor was denied the right to become king, stripped of his power, and banished to Earth by Odin. While exiled on Earth, Thor learned humility, finding love with Jane Foster, and helped save his new friends from the Destroyer sent by Loki. Due to his selfless act of sacrifice, Thor redeemed himself in his father's eyes and was granted his power once more, which he then used to defeat Loki's schemes of genocide.

Scrooge is the richest duck in the world, an achievement he credits to having been "smarter than the smarties, tougher than the toughies, and making it square." Identified by his stately attire (including his top hat, pince-nez spectacles, spats, and cane), Scrooge's money is not only a symbol of his frugality, but also his resilience and industriousness. As such, he prides his fortune to the point of being an avaricious tightwad, though he is honorable at his core. Scrooge's first encounter with money came as a young shoeshiner. After completing his first shine, Scrooge was rewarded with an American dime. This birthed Scrooge's business philosophy of working hard and honestly, while the dime itself would become the foundation of Scrooge's wealth and his most cherished possession. Scrooge was further inspired to emigrate to the United States in search of his fortune. He would eventually find a home in the city of Duckburg.

Neo was born as one of the billions of blue pills connected to the Matrix, where he was known as Thomas A. Anderson. As Thomas Anderson, he was a 'normal citizen with a social security number' and worked as a computer programmer for the MetaCortex software company. Aside from his professional life, Anderson worked as a hacker selling contraband programming, under the alias Neo, which became his common-use name after he was freed from the Matrix.

One night, while waiting for a client to pick up contraband software, Anderson was conducting an extensive online and periodical search for Morpheus when he fell asleep. A message interrupted the search, blanking out his screen: "The Matrix has you..." and "Follow the white rabbit."
