Pure Diesel Power is a locally owned and operated business at the edge of Marshfield, Wisconsin. They sell parts for diesel engines as well as gas engines and ATV/UTV engines. The owner, Garrett Shields, started the business in 2006. The entrepreneur began his business from his apartment. Having enough sales and saving his money, he was able to afford a real shop. Garrett prides himself over the business and spends a lot of his time there. In the beginning, he advertised his business on his pulling truck called, black ice, which he took to events. Being that this truck was built with the best performance parts, it won a lot of events. This helped Garrett take his business to the next level and get a lot of customers. Knowing Garrett outside of his business life helps shed light on some aspects of his business. He is very stubborn and set in his ways, which leads to very bad customer service. If you were to pull up the reviews on Google, you will see him arguing with customers who had a bad experience with his business. A lot of the time the bad reviews are false accusations on the company. It still would be better if the arguments were less public. To solve this problem Garrett hired a person to solve these problems for him. Overall Garrett does an excellent job running this business. His Google rating of 4.4 and the raving reviews shows that this is the business to go with if you are looking for the best performance in your vehicles. The staff is very friendly. It is very impressive hearing the story of this entrepreneur starting from nothing and making a successful business.
